Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti. From here, start your 6 km trek to Yamunotri (by foot, pony, or doli at own cost). Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the natural hot springs of Surya Kund. Offer prayers to Divya Shila before Darshan of the Yamunotri Temple. After seeking blessings, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which houses a massive iron trident (Shakti). You can also visit the Shakti Temple located right in front. ➢ As the Himalayan treks are ascending and descending the slopes, you will need a proper transmission of Oxygen from the lungs and heart to the body muscles. For this, trekkers should have good cardiovascular endurance that can be gained by doing cardio exercises like running, swimming, cycling, etc.
